A volcanic moonscape
In general Lanzarote prices aren’t too bad, but they aren’t noticeably cheap either. Duty free goods are widely available in the resorts and cigarettes and perfume are popular gifts for people back home. A one-course meal in a restaurant for two people, with wine, will cost around 20 euros and Lanzarote bars mix fantastic cocktails, but beware if strong liquor isn’t your thing as the shots are pretty big – not bad value for 7 euros. You will be charged for sunloungers on the beaches, as with any resort in Europe, so do pack beach towels to lie on if you want to save your pennies.
