Larnaca: Suggested Itinerary

White washed houses, palm-trees and sandy beaches

Day 1: Fly into the Cyprian city and settle in whilst taking it easy for the first night.

Day 2: Head to Curium (just west of Limassol, sign-posted from the highway). This is an ancient amphitheatre and the ruins of a sizeable town with mosaics, bath houses and stunning views. Along the road west from this there is the remains of a stadium and the Temple of Apollo which also has ruins of many buildings. If you like exploring and want to see everything you could spend a whole day in this area.

Day 3: Also around Limassol is Kolossi Castle and in Limassol city itself there is another castle in the old town which is now a museum. Next up is Paphos where there are many more mosaics and ruins at the harbour area and also the famous St. Paul’s Pillar.

Day 4: Last stop is Akamas, which is very beautiful and un-spoilt. At the capital Nicosia, there are lots of museums, the ancient city walls and many other things to see and do. You could probably spend a few days in Nicosia seeing everything and you can fly home from here too.
