Dates of public holidays in the Maldives vary slightly from year to year as they are governed by the phases of the moon, so it’s best to check with the Maldives High Commission if you want to know a specific date.
It is also worth bearing in mind that in the Maldives, Friday and Saturday is their official weekend.
