Marbella Geography

Marbella, which covers a surface area of 40 square miles (114 square kilometres), is situated on 16 miles (26 kilometres) of Mediterranean coastline. La Concha, part of the Sierra Blanca mountain range, is one of the most famous landmarks of the Marbella landscape, peaking 1000 metres above the city. It plays a key role in providing the resort with its very pleasant climate, whilst Marbella also benefits from 3000 hours of sunshine during the year and an average temperature of 19 degrees centigrade.
