Mexico: Naturism

A land of contrasts straddling temperate and tropical zones

Mexico Naturism

Mexico's Riviera Maya is a fast-growing Mecca for naturists seeking a tropical location and spending a naturist holiday in Mexico. In addition to ample sunshine, great snorkeling and scuba diving, and plenty of ancient ruins to explore, you can now find more naturist havens than anywhere else in Mexico, from the most expensive, all-inclusive luxury resorts to the cheapest nude beaches.

Although naturism is not officially sanctioned in Mexico there are many beaches where topless and nude sunbathing and swimming take place. There are some nude and clothing optional resorts, or you can find remote and secluded spots where you can sunbathe and swim in the nude. The beach at Zipolite is known as a nude beach, although most who go nude usually stick to the far ends of the beach. Located in Kantenah on the Riviera Maya, one hour south of Cancun, Hidden Beach is an upscale, luxurious, all-inclusive nude resort with a completely uninhibited environment where guests participate in a wide range of activities in the nude, from sunbathing to dining and dancing. There is nude sunbathing on the beach as well as a variety of beach activities and games.
