Mexico: Horse Riding

A land of contrasts straddling temperate and tropical zones

Mexico is a horse rider’s paradise owing to its extensive and beautiful landscapes and excellent horse riding opportunities. Valle de Bravo is a Mexican county two hours from Mexico City, which houses the biggest horse population owing to its location and topography which allows a wide variety of terrains on which to ride. There are many trails, paths, dirt roads and old ‘Caminos Reales’ that cross the county in every direction giving the horses and riders the opportunity to ride for hours, soaking in the breathtaking countryside. Among the other attractions for tourists in this county are an old colonial town, a beautiful blue lake, evergreen forests, and an amazing number of different microclimates within a small area. Mexico is home to a number of ranches spread all across the country where you join a horse riding tour.
