Bustling liberal cities, Windmills, flowers, fish, cafés, cheese - and tall people
Many parts of the Netherlands are geared up for tourism. When to go to the Netherlands is very dependent on your personal circumstances. Work out first what you want from your holiday or break in the Netherlands as the country has such a huge variety of attractions and activities to offer the visitor. If you want sun, the best time to go to the Netherlands is from June to August. However, as you would expect, this period can be the busy on the coast and therefore the most expensive in those areas.
