Miami of the South
Panama’s ocean waters are the rendezvous point between families of grey humpback whales, the families travel from Mexico to the North and Argentina to the South to Panama’s waters because the ocean here provide an optimum environment for the baby whales to gain the knowledge and maturity needed to thrive in the open oceans challenging environment.
The baby humpbacks migrate to Panama with theirs parents between june and October and during these months with a some of luck our boat could literally be surrounding by humpbacks pods.
In mid October and November the families of humpbacks whales start the migration back to there home waters. Tours depart primarily from all around Panama Bay, and most of the major guide companies operate with a guarantee of at least one whale sighting on all their trips.
