With it's long history, there are plenty of opportunities for sightseeing in Portugal. From ancient Roman ruins, to spectacular modern bridges. Some of the highlights and must see sights in Portugal are St. Jorge's Castle, the Ponte 25 de Abril, the Gulbenkian museum and Chiado street, all in Lisbon. The cities of Coimbra and Evora both have some of the oldest Roman ruins in Europe, as well as centuries old universities. Elsewhere in Portugal, it is not difficult to find evidence of Portugal's history and culture.
