Book your ticket to paradise
Other than gazing at a sky full of stars and enjoying a cocktail on a moonlit beach-side terrace, Seychelles is not known for its nightlife. That being said, almost all large hotels and resorts offer evening entertainment with traditional music and dance, and there are a handful of clubs on the main island of Mahé – note that gentlemen will usually need to wear long trousers to be granted entry. You might have some fun, especially if you meet some friendly locals, but overall Seychelles is simply not an all-night, party-'til-you-drop destination. Single holidayers seeking edgy discotheques, DJ's and a vibrant after-dark social scene are wise to book elsewhere.
