Sweden: Scuba Diving
More than just flatpack furniture!
If you can dive in Sweden, you can probably dive anywhere in the world, such are the inclement conditions which scuba divers often face: it is dark, cold and has poor visibility, so scuba divers rely heavily on instruments and diving partners. That said, scuba diving in Sweden tends to offer much more than you might imagine. It is estimated that Sweden is home to at least 40,000 sunken ships, many of which tend to be well-preserved. The most popular scuba diving destinations are the west coast’s Lysekil, Smogen, Kullaberg, Vaderoarna, and Bjorkvik, in Stockholm.
