Venice Backpacking

Venice is not a great destination for backpackers, although it remains a popular stop over in Europe. Backpacks are not allowed when viewing most sites in Venice, so either leave your backpack behind at your hotel, or check it at one of several cloakrooms. Camera bags and shopping bags are OK to take inside the sites. When you are out backpacking in Venice, the best way to get the most out of your trip and adventure is to stay at one of the many hostels that there are in the local area. As opposed to staying at a traditional hotel, a hostel is much cheaper and it will add to the adventure factor of your trip.
